RAM National Circuit Finals Rodeo Champions Crowned in Kissimmee

Whoa, hold your horses, Kissimmee! Wasn’t that a hurly-burly of a week at the RAM National Circuit Finals Rodeo? We kicked it all off with our annual Cattle Drive thanks to our partners Spirit of the Swamp and the City of Kissimmee, followed by our annual Stock Contractors Luncheon thanks to Bell Roper Law, our champions venturing out and meeting folks in the community, hosting over 4,000 students for our first performance, the Boots and Tees annual Golf Tournament benefiting Snip-It, the Women in Rodeo Round Up, our annual Kissimmee/Osceola County Chamber Business After Hours, the annual Cocktails for a Cause event benefiting the Justin Cowboy Crisis Fund, opening the 2018 Tailgate Experience, and more! Our heads are still spinning. We sure had a great time, and we hope you did too!

It’s been one heck-of-a-ride for our circuit champions. We are so proud of all the 200+ contestants who made it here to compete in Kissimmee at the 2018 RAM National Circuit Finals Rodeo.

To give you an idea of just how far these contestants travel to make it to the rodeos they have to qualify at, we asked former RAM National Circuit Finals Rodeo champion and reigning world champion bareback rider Tim O’Connell about his mileage. O’Connell said, “We will travel about 40,000 miles by vehicle and another 30,000 by plane to make it where we need to go.” After they travel a great deal, they also have to make sure they win their rodeos. If they win enough, then they get to compete at their regional circuit finals. And if they are lucky enough to win at the regional level, then they advance to Kissimmee to compete for their share of $1 million in cash and prizes at the RAM National Circuit Finals Rodeo!

We tip our Resistols to congratulate our newly crowned champions here in Kissimmee!
